Does seem like a good idea to me. And probably an achievable addition. I’m sure admin’ll look into it.
I know that over the years that I’ve been on the internet, I have made some good friend, and have met a few in person as well. Sometimes distance can be a disadvantage, but things can always happen.
1 – Started knowing a friend that was stationed in Alaska in the service. We chatted alot online, then via phone. Always thought of meeting. Well, ran into him one day online he tells me that he was being transferred to Kuwait for 6 months. Turned out that by coincidence that he was having an overnight transfer flight at the airport near me. We got to meet, he stayed the night, took him to the airport the next day. Same thing when he returned to the states. Had the transfer here, stayed and went back to Alaska again. He went a second time and did the same thing.
2 – I have a very close friend that I’ve made that lives in the UK. Actually met him from Yahoo. He’s come to visit the US 3 times over the last 4 years. I do want to get him to be a member here since he’s 6’8”. Glad that my SUV has the plenty of head and legroom for me so also for him. hahaha
I’ve met people online before, so it’s not a foreign concept. It’s just that most people I talk to are across the damn country (Or world sometimes) and the people closest to me aren’t into the same stuff I am.
You know, I have always hoped I would be able to meet someone from the chatroom if it were possible.But I am finding more and more,that most of the guys I meet in the chatroom don’t even live in the same state as I do….or even the same part of the country.If I could work it out though,I would love to meet some of the guys I chat with.
i agree with justjeff most of the guys you want to hook up with do not live in the same country or same state. wich is too bad because I love men who are GIANTS among us mere little people
Only guy nearby I want to meet so far is Devon and he’s always busy. :P
