Hi guys,
Just to let you know I’ll be doing a little work to update elements of the site over the next 24 hours or so, and as a result you may notice a few errors or unexpected messages. Hold tight, it shouldn’t take too long.
The work will be concerning the emails users are sent, so you may find you do not receive an email informing you of new friend requests, messages etc. Users looking to sign up may have a little trouble getting their verification email, but it can be requested again at any time.
I’ll let you know once the work is complete. There will be a new feature for the site at the end of it all.

An update: The minor update is now complete, and you should be receiving your emails again.
You can now update the level of emails you receive from the site by visiting the Email Settings page. You can get there by clicking email settings on the account menu, or the email option at the top of your account home page.

This is great, my inbox is breathing a sigh of relief already.
I’ve just started getting a ton of new emails from topics and photos. Will they disable in the same way?
