I hope you get there Coomdoom. I know it’s a “stretch”...but I would be your number 1 fan to see you at that glorious height.

I just got off the scale, and added 3 more inches, to the stomach. This diet is back firing. Instead of thinner and taller I am starting to look like a giant cello.

What is your diet plan? Both in the means of food and exercise?

I am about 530 lbs now, and pretty much all I can do is walk and some aerobics. I got rid of most of the carbs and have meat and water and pork rhinds.

Admittedly I would have rather gone a totally akaline eating style then acidic though the meat thing has worked before and at the moment I can not afford to eat all organically.

37st!!!!! We use stone and pounds here in the UK so if it wasn’t for the converter, 530lb would have meant nothing to me haha.

You don’t need to eat all organically, it’s just a matter of having good exercise and a balanced diet, also the key thing to remember is all in moderation. With the exercise, try and create an exercise routine so you walk 2 miles every day for the first 3 weeks, then add another mile on for 2 more weeks and so on and so forth.

Within each week you should be doing 5 days of exercise with 2 rest days.

You should be eating 3 healthy meals a day without snacks in-between. An example of a breakfast meal would be one bowl of cereal with some semi skimmed milk. This should keep you going until lunch time. Also if you find that you are getting cravings for food, it can signify that you are not hydrated enough, so try to drink as much water throughout the day as possible. You will pee a lot but the good thing about it is that the water will help clear out toxins in your body and will really help with the weight loss.

Cut down on alcohol if you drink, a max of 1-2 pints of beer a day. Also if you smoke, you will need to quit to help with the weight loss and general fitness.

When you can afford it, I would recommend joining a gym and getting a personal trainer, meet with them at the same time every week and get into a routine, the trainer will help you do fat burning exercises instead of doing purely cardiovascular.

A no-snacks policy helped me lose 40 lbs in college. I budgeted my calories at 1,000 a day (an aggressive goal, so if I went over it wouldn’t matter), and I did cardio and weights 3 times a week. I started out on a step machine (glider) because I was too weak to run. Sometimes I skipped dinner after a workout to help the process along — exercise for some reason made me feel more full as long as I stayed hydrated.

No sugary sodas or empty calories … make the most of what you eat. By looking at calories, I found out a Snickers ice cream bar was actually healthier than peanut butter crackers! So you can eat what you want as long as it’s less. I also did lots of high-protein, low-sugar smoothies.

Food for thought: 50 years ago, the adult hamburger sold at McDonald’s is in today’s kids meal. Sodas were 6 ounces too.

Since you’re tall, you’ll probably need more calories than I did. About 1,500 should do the trick. I know the math sucks, but it’s the only way to make sure what you eat is less than what you metabolize.

Oh, and use the calorie counter on the gym equipment! I was able to go outside my diet by that amount if I was particularly hungry. And whatever you do, exercise, even walking, is key (maybe even get a pedometer).
