So I’m curious, who here actually has photos in the private album? I have a few.
I was thinking of adding a few, but i’ll see what happens.
I don’t really have anything that private to put up, I mean my profile pic is pretty revealing as it is.
How private are the pics that people are loading on here?
It’s not that the subject of the pics are private…it’s just that sometimes you don’t want them to be available to every Tom, Dick and Harry.
That is true too.
I sometimes think I am too open about things.
Maybe I need to create an aura of mystery around myself more often…

So how do we get to look at the private galleries then?
Are the private photos actually private on this site (as opposed to the other site). If they are, I would post some.
Yeah, I think that problem has been resolved mstevens.
You have to add people to your ‘allowed to view your private photos’ list in your account settings.
The private photo albums are online and working. They are a lot more secure than on the old site, so you should feel safe in being able to upload photos there. You can upload private photos just like you do public photos. You can grant access from the Photo Settings page to any member you choose. Access is granted immediately, and will cancel immediately should you ever click remove permission next to a user’s name. Once a user is granted access, a private message will be sent to them on your behalf to make them aware. No private message is sent when access is revoked.
Of course, this is still the Internet, so I would advise the use of common sense and judgement in what you choose to upload.
So, I have to add someone as a friend to see the private pictures. I know it is very obvious, but I’m a little silly for this!

It’s separate from friends. You can send friendships to anyone, but only the owner of a private photo album can allow people to view it. Friends don’t automatically get access.
I’ve uploaded a couple of pictures to my private album. If anyone wants to reveal the mystery and know who Riddler is, send me a message, or add me as a friend, or whatever, and I’ll allow you to see the photos.
Admninistrator: I have no problem if you put one of them as a thumbnail in my avatar.
