Ive experienced a problem sending message via the group. It times out and my message disappears half way through. Is this happening to only me?

If you are talking about typing most of your message and then the room “blinks” and the content is gone…..Then no. It hasn’t happened to just you. I needed to ask the admin something important…room kept “blinking” had to copy and paste the note in here because it didn’t allow me enough time to finish the message. But that hasn’t happened to me since I reported it to the admin….almost 2 weeks ago.

justjeff – My problem is exactly like yours. It comes and goes. I had the problem maybe 10 days ago and then today. I tried replying to a message and sending a new message. After 5 blinks and lost messages I gave up.

From what you’re saying and from what I’ve seen on the site I believe the admin has set forum thread pages to automatically refresh (hence the page ‘blinking’ and your text going). Maybe it would be best for admin to disable this and let users manually refresh like other forums make users do.

coom – Either that or I go to typing school and get my speed up to 15 words per minute. lol

lol, that’s still quite slow

Still it’s something that didn’t work completely to plan on admin’s part but it was a good thought though.
