What is “beer economy” and what does the response have to do with it?

It is a series of ads by an Australia beer company. Pretty much using beer to pay for favours you do for friends, like helping them move house or looking after their dog for a week while they go on holidays. In this case (hahaha case, what a pun!) it is changing the lightbulb for your nan.
It is hilariously funny. If you watch it, I am sure you will understand why. Well… at least I find it funny.
