There is an updated messaging system in the site now. You will notice a change in the way your messages are stored in folders. You now have the choice to save messages you wish to keep.

At the moment, the site currently holds over 12000 messages, most of which will probably never be accessed again. The new system will automatically delete any read messages more than two weeks old, unless you have decided to save them. Unread messages will be protected until they have been read.

Just a quick update:

As of tomorrow, the system will begin clearing out old read messages. If there are any messages you would like to keep, please move them to your Saved messages folder to prevent their deletion.

To clarify, any messages more than two weeks old will be deleted if they have been read by the recipient. All unread messages will remain protected.

Hello, I am new to the service. I signed up 1 day ago and I thought I was approved by the adminn. I send a pvt msg, but it will not let me send it! the error stated that I need to be approved my the adminn. I did respond to the test msg that was automatically send to my e-mail account. Did I miss something?

Why do I imagine that most of these read:

When you join you receive an email to verify your email address and to prove you have access to it.

Once you join, new members can begin using the site and the forums, upload photos, and enter the chatroom. However, each member is then approved by me manually in order for them to send messages. This is to prevent spam messages being sent by newly created accounts.

I usually process new members and public photo uploads each day, but occasionally it can take a few days. All outstanding photos and members have now been approved. You can usually tell once you have been allowed to send messages as you will see the admin account as one of your recent profile visitors.
