I recently got sent this link to a funny blog about a guy who gets put with a 7ft+ roommate on college. There’s 14 different parts if you want to read them in order. Seems the big guy wasn’t so easy to share with!
Interesting read. The tall guy seems like a bit of a douche, but not really as bad as he is made out to be. The main guy is a bit uptight and it was a relief to hear him finally snap at the non-girlfriend.
anyone have an idea who this guy is supposed to be?
Who is it? I don’t follow basketball so wouldn’t really have the slightest idea.
figured out who the 7 footer is, but have no info on him. anyone know anything about him or have a pic?
Hmph… since no one wanted to make it easy for me and just post the name, I used my google skills.
The player was Matt (Mathieu) Ten Dam, hailing from Almelo, Holland.
Height of 7’2” and weight of around 280-300 lbs. It seems he has an appalling reputation.
His basketball stats mean nothing to me, but here they are for those curious.
If you read the story, you will see he used to do fighting, and it seems he continued with it. I Couldn’t find any pictures, but youtube gives us a “video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VKil5Ibrq-8” of him fighting an almost equally big guy. Have no idea if this is boxing, or kickboxing, or just two guys slapping each other around.
Pretty sure this is the right guy considering he has a Bob Marley tat on his arm you can see when he has taken his shirt off! He seems like a bit of a thug if you ask me, but I guess it is mostly due to the way he’s been described in the story.
The other guy, the “Future NBA All-Star” is in Glenn Robinson according to “this:http://purdue.rivals.com/showmsg.asp?fid=52&tid=129875761&mid=129875761&sid=892&style=2” forum post which also has the unblurred version of the pic Bawful posted.
So that’s the mystery over. C’mon Scoob let’s get back to the Mystery Machine…

I hope you aren’t so difficult to live with Coco. You don’t seem to be the type to use your size to bully others. Maybe lift them up and sit them on something high a bit, but not bully.
