In Canada, we have our seal hunt. Nothing like whacking a baby seal with a club. ![]()
Yeah that won’t win the hearts and minds of the English lol
Just stay the fu*k out of Leeds and you’ll be fine… I shiver at the mere rememberance of living there… though Nottingham was nice.
I think the funny thing about Britain is the amount of different accents and regions, and I think a lot of people who visit assume it’ll be like TV where everyone is either posh as the Queen or cockney.
I’m sort of in the South and definitely don’t know anyone who shoots animals or condones that. Maybe in some wealthier parts of England there are a few older guys who still do.
There are a lot of big generalisations here, but from experience I do find people friendlier and more helpful in the north, or south away from London. London is great though, but it’s still scary to me as it’s so busy and I’m used to towns where you’ll see someone you know and I think people do talk to each other more. But that is more of a stereotype the city of London has. I’m sure there are community feels.
These generalisations were admittedly somewhat tongue in cheek.
Is there anywhere on your contenant to get an 8XL Tall shirt or for that matter a good spell checker since mine SUCKS.

No to the former. Yes to the latter.
Well, I have my first indication of location. It looks to be the big city. Ack! That will be an adjustment.
Birmingham? London? Bristol? If it’s Bristol then that will be amazing as it’s the home of one of the best accents of all time.
London. LOL. Its going to cost them a fortune to host me there, isn’t it?
Probably not. Depends what part of London they put you in. If it’s further out it should be cheaper and then you’d get the train or tube in.
