Hi Steve! I’m also a Stephen, and although my last name is McCarthy, I don’t really subscribe in McCarthyism myself.
Yes, I do think we need to get on in our lives, or at least, have a referee of sorts to help Coco and theworld sort out their differences. It is interesting that Coco has not provided a photo of himself verifying his username on this website when so many of the other regular users have done so. However a lack of evidence is not enough to prove he’s not the height he claims. It can only raise suspicion. Moreover there are understandable reasons for a tall person not to do so (privacy, always feeling on show, that you must prove yourself to people as a tall, etc).
As for Coco being Admin, I remember many times where Coco would start a post to ask Admin to make changes to the site. What a waste of time to do that if they are the very same person! Unless of course, Coco is ingenious to fool us by messaging himself during some of the slow weeks of last spring.
Lastly, I hope theworld that your membership on Heightgroup is not contingent on Coco revealing himself or him having his profile deleted. If so, you may be disappointed, for Coco, as an independent person, owe’s you nothing. The website is called “height group”, not “height verification”, and comradery amongst each other should be our first mandate, not expulsion for deception. That shouldn’t be the main focus of the group, unless we are some sort-of Guinness book of world records committee recording human height.
Of course, all of these comments are opinions. Theworld believes coco to be fake. I completely agree. There have been many fakes on this site, the previous version of this site and also long ago in the gianthunter chatroom. Coco is by far the best faker ever and should be praised for being so thorough in his creation.
It’s fine that he’s a fake, because the character of coco is so well formed that he is entertaining and keeps this site going – when he joins the chatroom, it always fills up within minutes.
I do wish he would come clean and own up to it now, or at least make a start by explaining why he posted the fake footprint photo.
Maybe I can help him by following my own request – I’ve had a couple of fake profiles on various height sites over the last few years. Mostly because it was fun (and horny!!) to roleplay. So there you go… I’ve been honest. I wonder if the person who roleplays as coco will do the same?
Yikes, this thread really has taken off now has it, i knew once it was posted it would end up being an endless back and forth battle, and i must say i am not surprised.
I understand both sides, but it seems like theworld is hurt by something that coco did, or hasn’t done..its just the internet here folks, lets try not to get our emotions mixed up with a site, especially THIS site, this isnt stocks and bonds…it’s a site that i must admit, i used to visit frequently..but lately its turned more into a Fantasy/Role playing realm and im not really into that.
I came here for the people, it was great talking with all of you across the globe, and it was great sharing similar interests even with things that have nothing to do with height/feet/ w/e.
..Anywho to make things short, coco doesnt have to prove anything to anyone, as a matter of fact..none of us have to, like someone mentioned earlier..this isnt “heightverfication.com” its a group of people on a forum sharing similiar interest in ones height, and when it gets to that level of course some people are going to lie about stats to get more attention and etc, there’s been numerous fakers here on this site!...
But then the other side of me actually wants coco to take that picture..just so shut everyone up, (including myself lol). It would be most fitting that the most famous person on this site, prove his self to the others, coco im not telling you to do it, like i said you have nothing to prove to anyone..but i feel thats its only right…that way, this conversation will never happen again. And furthermore, no one can question your validity.
Of course someone can photoshop a pic or w/e, but theres limits to what PS can do, and imperfections are bound to happen, unless someone really puts time into doing so.. Anywho that is all i have to say on the matter (phew, what an essay)
There is this strange phenomena found amongst humans, whereby even the most nice of people can become a complete dick. It happens when people are put behind the computer screen. They get used to the internet being a place of neigh instant gratification, when they begin dealing with people on the internet if those people don’t instantly gratify them they will begin campaigns such as this against people. Fakers are none of my business and its between them and the people taken in by them. Whether or not coco is 7ft2 is no concern to me, he knows the truth and I’ll leave it at that. I found his posts amusing and friendly. If I have come across a user’s photos before under a different name, and a different country, who cares? I’ve still found a 7fter.
