Size conversions
Posted by admin on Aug 23rd 2009

One of the most requested features from the old site that I hadn’t yet brought to the new site is now available. The size conversion calculator can now be accessed by clicking links in profiles for height and shoe size. You can also get it at any time by pressing F2 on your keyboard.

In time, I would like to reach a stage where all heights and sizes in posts will be highlighted in the same way as the profile fields.

Note: you may need to disable or configure your pop-up settings to view the calculator.

the ft+in on the height converter is glitchy, when i try to put in 6ft it will straightaway jump to 60ft, and if you put a number in the inches section, it jumps to 600ft. if you try and take these extra 0’s off they reappear, please help lol

I had a look at that problem, and it seems to have been fixed now. Any other problems, or inaccurate results, let me know so I can fine tune the code.

You should add a temperature conversion :P

Not entirely relevant to the website, but makes it easy in chat when we discuss the weather…
