What happened to the chatroom? It used to be fun…..different colors and sounds.Even the layout was better just yesterday.It sucks to even go there today.I hope this is only slightly temporary.

It is horrible, I tried using it yesterday and it was really hard to use, to make a one to one was impossible and it was also silent.
Please please change it back or it will be the death of this site !
Give the admin some time. The new chatroom is a work in progress. I’m sure it will be better than the old one soon enough.

You tried to private message me, so it’s clearly possible. There are sounds too, but not all browsers seem to pick them up. I imagine admin is aware and working on it, so give it a while. It’s not exactly like the old chatroom was fault-free.
I think it’s kind of interesting that the people complaining are those that generally don’t engage in conversation in the chatroom, but who head straight for private messages as soon as they – or others – enter.
One question. Why the heck is this thread in the Dating and Personals section?! Surely support and suchlike or summat. Seems a bit odd to have it here.
As to the new chatroom, you may need to install QuickTime Player to get things working proper. Besides that, I’m sure Admin is working hard as always on bringing us users even better features for the website, including the chatroom.
Dating and personals! lol, I didn’t even notice that. Makes it even funnier. Besides, there was already the New Chatroom topic.
FYI...when using the pvt feature…I had to constantly place the cursor back in the field bar in order to type… and if I chose to answer somes question in the main room, then the person I was chatting with in PVT....their cursor would get booted out of the field.
