Is anyone here of the really tall guys suffer from the medical gigantism? or are most of you are just naturally tall??
Also, same question applies for the smaller guys ;)
I have a severe medical condition which foorces me to be average in absolutely everything. It’s horrible. I’ve tried to have a tumout on my pituitary, I’ve tried deforming myself, but it keeps resetting me. It’s an absolute nightmare and I have serious problems in being so average. I feel such a freak. I get ignored by so many people, it’s like being inversely pestered. People coming up to me, saying “Aren’t you dull?” asking me to take pictures of them with someone else…and some don’t even ask, they just thrust the camera in my hand… It’s a real difficuty in every part of my life. I mean, finding a date is really hard, there’s all these tall guys and short guys getting loads of dates, and people don’t even notice I’m there, I’m such a face in the crowd.
I’ve decided recently to take drastic steps to change my situation. I’ve taken up a new job as town crier and am joining the Monster Raving Loonie Party and having a pet tiger. These measures are extreme, and there is a chance that they might not just be unsuccessful, but could kill me. However, I’m willing to take the chance. I can’t live like this any more. I’m going to get noticed, and that’s final.
not giantism, but my doctor has theorized that since i had a horrible times with sickness during my years of puberty that might have caused my growth to not end on time, thus the reason I’m 24 and still getting bigger. but it’s just a theory.
24 is pretty late to be still growing – have you taken any drugs to
slow the growth? How tall are you now, and what height were you in high school? (Inquiring minds want to know -and depending on the answer to the second question, that could make for an interesting 10-year reunion :))
