Introduction

Howdy guys! Figured it was way past time to put something in my profile--so here it is! Name: Cameron - or Cam to friends Age: 49 but moving towards 50 as of May 26 Height: 5'10 (app 177 cm) Weight: 238 lbs at the moment, about 108 kilo or 17 Stone-depending on your preference). Working at reducing - but some weeks I work harder at it than others. Sexual Orientation: Gay-but I don't broadcast it. I'm a pretty masculine guy and most people don't guess unless I tell them. (Even the gay guys who swear "they can always tell") Bearish type guy normally with a full beard (although I'll do a goatee on occasion)-but not very furry once you get below the neck (I think of Bear as more a type of behavior and not necessarily linked to having a fur pelt covering the body). Hair: Dark brown/salt and pepper Eyes: Hazel with either glasses or contacts (prefer contacts but then I have to wear reading glasses for computer work!) Profession: Urban (City) Planner, and finishing up a graduate degree in Urban Planning with an emphasis on Sustainable Urbanism. Currently looking to move ahead in my profession--so if you know of any urban planning jobs--let me know! :-)

About Me

Darn--way too much to tell here. But as a start-- First off--let me say I like to chat and find out more about people of all ages and sizes-so feel free to say Hi! I've always liked big and tall guys - although its more because I find them interesting and not because I'm looking for a one-night stand with them. Most of my friends are taller than I am and I guess I've always felt comfortable around most tall guys. A cousin of mine once told me I had more tall/beefy friends than anyone he'd ever met--and I guess that's kinda true. It has skewed my idea of what tall is--since I don't consider a guy tall until they hit at least 6'4 and very tall isn't until 6'8 or more. But I also find that once I get to know someone I forget how tall or big they are (most of the time). I'm more interested in the person than their size. But I find a lot of tall guys seem to get two types of reactions--guys are either intimidated by them (and sometimes want to fight them) or assume they're just big, dumb jock types. Most big guys have a lot going on upstairs and its interesting to just get them talking about life, themselves and their interests. Of course-I will admit--if you want someone to tell you you're interesting or support your goals of getting bigger/ more muscular--I'll be glad to help with that. :-) That being said--I enjoy meeting people of all types and sizes. Yeah-the 6'7 football player type gets my attention--but everyone has interesting stories to tell and different points of view. So feel free to say Hi and/or ask me to join you in the chat room. I'm also a good listener-and find that people often confide in me. I'm not sure why that is--but I do promise that anything told to me stays with me (I assume everything is in confidence unless someone says otherwise). There's a lot to be learned from all types of people--and that's probably one of the reasons I got into city planning. Its interesting to find out what makes people tick, what they want and need, and to try to figure out if I can help make things better for them.

Favourite Things

Favorite music: Jazz, Classical, Opera, Country, Rock--I like pretty much anything as long as its not too loud. TV Shows: Don't watch as much as I used to--but I like most of the British comedies, political shows, science fiction (Star Trek, Dr Who, etc) and some newer comedy shows. Books: lean more towards light reading because I read so many government guides at work. Fiction, science fiction, history, biographies, classics Likes: Travel (I've traveled in Europe a bit and even lived there for a couple years), reading, camping, hiking, live theater, some sports (American football or gridiron, Rugby,Field events-shot put, discus in particular, Highland games, strongmans competition), the gym-although I don't work out as often as I should. Anyone need a workout partner). And, of course, big and tall guys. This is only a partial list. Feel free to ask any questions if you want to know more! I'll promise an honest answer--although I reserve the right to take a few minutes to figure out how to say it!
